 High School Minimize

 Sunday School

Every Sunday morning the high school youth meet in the youth room at 9 AM for doughnuts, fellowship and bible study.

 

Youth Group

Wednesday evenings are devoted to youth in grades 9-12.  We meet at 5:30 PM for dinner and then head to the youth room for bible study, fellowship or a Nooma video.
  
 Middle School Minimize
Sunday School

Youth in grades 6-8 meet in the library every sunday morning for Sunday School.  Class begins at 9:00 AM.  This year the youth are studying other denominations and comparing them to the ELCA.

 

Confirmation

Confirmation is held every wednesday from 2:00 - 3:00 PM in the youth room for youth in grades 6-8.  Confirmation is done for the year but will start back up in the fall.  If you have any questions please contact Kirstin


 Youth Group

Youth group is held for grades 6-8 on Wednesday afternoons.  We meet from 2:00 - 3:00 PM in the youth room for some fellowship, games and devotions.
  
 Elementary Minimize

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

 August 13-17,2007 from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Listen Up! is this years theme for Vacation Bible School. This year Camp Lutherhaven is sending four counselors to lead our VBS.  Vacation Bible School is offered for all youth entering into Kindergarten through 5th grade.  Older youth are encouraged to volunteer as helpers. Sunday School

Sunday School is offered every week for all ages at First Lutheran Church.  For elementary age youth we use the rotation model.  The youth study the same bible story for four weeks while rotating between arts and crafts, games, drama and science.  Sunday School begins each Sunday at 9 AM in the chapel with singing, then the students are dismissed to their classes.

 

Family Ministry Events

Starting in the fall we will have one family event per month.  The event will always fall on the third weekend of the month.  We are hoping that families will sponsor a month and help with planning for the events.  If you are interested in helping out with this minsitry please contact Kirstin.
